For sale is a Kiwi 3p upgraded JX-3p with the all important hardware patch editor. This JX3p was professionally upgraded by a synth tech/ engineer and all new functions work perfectly. There is a second LFO, patches can respond to velocity (including velocity to filter), and new LFO waveforms. This is a great sounding synthesizer that could hold its own against my Jupiter 8: some of the same basic sonic properties are present. Bass tones also sound right on this synth and sound even better in a recording. The famous sequencer can be clocked by an analogue gate or trigger from your drum machine, making it a great synth for those with modular or analogue clock based studios. This synth was used in an air-conditioned, smoke free home studio and never taken out on tour or for live shows.
The high-ish shipping rate is what I anticipate the need for it to be packaged by the UPS store: I'd rather have them prepare the package than try to wing it myself.
