RARE 2010 Momose Sonix Custom Craft Guitar LPS-56 <> Bacchus Deviser <> Custom Shop Quality
This very rare Sonix LPS-56 (Les Paul Special) was hand made in 2010 at the Deviser Aska workshop in Nagano prefecture, Matsumoto city, Japan. Deviser is the parent company of Bacchus, Headway, Momose, Seventy Seven, etc. This Sonix LPS-56 was hand made by Deviser for Sonix so, this example is basically a custom order.
This very rare hand made Sonix LPS-56 example has the same four digit inked serial number font and format as seen on Momose examples from the late 2000s to early 2010s era. This example also has the identical 'Custom Craft Guitar' logo as seen on Momose MLS examples from the late 2000s to early 2010s era.
Momose Les Paul Special examples are likely the rarest and most difficult to locate P-90 equipped Deviser hand made guitars ever produced. I have seen only three examples in the past eleven years. To ascribe this hand made Sonix LPS-56 example as a 'unicorn' or 'rare as hens teeth' would certainly be appropriate.
The 'Custom Craft Guitars' produced by Deviser at their Aska workshop are crafted in limited batches by expert luthiers that are dedicated to the highest levels of quality. Deviser 'Custom Craft Guitars' are true 'custom shop' grade instruments that typically out-perform most other guitar brand offerings that have much higher price points. You could purchase a Gib$on Cu$tom $hop Les Paul Special that cost nearly twice my asking price for this very rare hand made Sonix LPS-56 but why pay double plu$ for fret edge binding, ma$$ produced low quality, and Gib$on on the head stock?
CONDITION: I rated this very rare Sonix LPS-56 as 'Very Good' only because it has a few finish dings on the body near the body corner edges, none of which go into the lumber. Other than the few finish dings the instrument could likely pass as 'Excellent' with no problem but to be safe I am rating it as 'Very Good.'
