This is a 2012 Ernie Ball Music Man USA Axis Tribute. The Axis Tribute model was a limited edition release that was basically a reissue of the earlier Eddie Van Halen Signature Model. Guitar features a highly figured Quilted Maple top in trans black finish with dark brown back/sides and a figured Birdseye Maple neck with body matching headstock finish. This guitar has some very light surface scratches but I don't see anything that goes through the finish and overall it is in excellent condition. The frets are in excellent shape and the guitar plays cleanly and easily up and down the neck with very good action and no buzzes or issues. The back of the neck is super smooth and feels great. Guitar is all original and the pickups and controls work perfectly. The weight on this guitar is 7.9 lbs.
