This is a rare Brazilian rosewood James Goodall from his Kona, Hawaii days. The sound is rich, even and pronounced. Goodall made very few Brazilian rosewood guitars and when he did only the highest quality woods were used. This is the top-of-the-line.
AAA Brazilian rosewood, master grade Italian spruce, curly koa binding, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard. 1 3/4 nut 15-inch lower bout Excellent condition with minor signs of use visible in the right light. No repairs or chips. One small cosmetic line in the clear coat below the "D" string, and not into the wood, and visible only in the right light up close (see the last photo).
Hardshell Case included.
