This listing is for an absolutely FLAWLESS MINT condition GORGEOUS Taylor GS Mini Holden Village Limited Edition with Figured Maple back and sides and a stunning striped Engelmann Spruce top.  The maple brings clarity and power and the Engelmann is warm, sensitive, and adds just enough overtones to make the tone ever-interesting.  This guitar plays great and sounds brilliant in open tunings.  The sustain goes for days.  The GS Minis are just fantastic guitars and this one is no exception with dynamics and overtones not found on any of their regular models.  The pick guard was removed the day after purchase by the luthiers at Texas' largest guitar repair shop.   The guitar comes with original documents and a 100% clean and fully functional GS Mini gig bag.
This Limited Edition has a gorgeous mountain inlay that comes with a story.  The soundboards of the Holden Village Special Edition of the GS Mini guitars are cut from the wood of 250 year old Engelmann spruce trees salvaged from Washington's North Cascade Mountains.  The backs and sides of these guitars are made from the wood of a single maple tree that grew near Bellingham, which was cut for a college expansion project. The wood of this particular Big Leaf Maple tree displays a beautiful "fiddleback" pattern resulting in its striking appearance.
