1965 Vintage Red Truetone by Kay Vanguard Kay Pancake Pickup Pro Setup Original Softshell Case

A 1965 Truetone made by Kay Vanguard Guitar. This guitar is all original and in very good shape. Only small dings and scratches..see pics.

We dated this one from the pickup stamping and the pots dates. See pics 5 and 6.

All original everything and very lightly played. Check out the pics of the original brass Kay frets and nut. Beautiful Red finish. We did reroute the input jack end of the pickguard as it was broken. See pic 3... Otherwise, this guitar is in awesome shape.

Jeff the Tech did a great job setting this cool guitar up. Great action that plays like a breeze. The Kay Pancake Case pickup is very strong. If you haven't experienced these before, be prepared to be impressed. A very unique Bluesy tone comes from all of these cool Pickups.
