Stand out in the crowd with this 2013 Relic Fender American Special Telecaster electric guitar relic'd by Nate's Relic Guitars. The beautiful Road Worn Sunburst finish gives it that vintage look and feel of a road worn instrument. This is a 2013 model that has been relic'd to look old. The 21 jumbo frets are in great condition and have been leveled and polished with rounded edges to assure very smooth play. Synthetic bone nut, maple fingerboard with 9.5 radius. Medium Modern C profile maple neck measures 43mm wide at nut, depth measures .832" at first fret and .870" at 12th fret. Professional Luthier set up with low action and new Ernie Ball 10-46 strings. Intonated and ready to gig. Loaded with Fender Texas Special pickups that deliver the legendary Tele tone and are overwound with higher output, producing a beefier sound (see link below to hear a demo). Everything works and sounds Awesome. Electronics include 3 way switch , 1 volume, 1 tone and Fender Grease Bucket tone circuit (See close-up picture to view the electronics). The Grease Bucket tone circuit allows you to roll of highs without adding bass. Equipped with Fender vintage style ashtray bridge and brass saddles. The Fender Special body is solid alder and measures 1 3/4" thick. Total guitar weight is 7 lbs. 2 oz. Features quality new Fender Road Worn tuners that hold tune tightly. All original Fender Special parts except the new Fender tuners and string tree. The body is the original Fender satin urethane factory finish that has been relic'd by our shop. The neck is finished in Nitro by our shop. Many hours have gone into finishing this guitar with attention to detail including the relic hardware. Comes with plenty of dents, crazing, chips, cracks, blemishes wear and rust! Includes a nice padded gig bag (no hard case).
