About This Listing

67-69 Mosrite Joe Maphis Model Mark X

This is a gorgeous Mosrite Joe Maphis Model Mark X bass from the late 60s. It's all original except for the knobs which were replaced and the missing bridge cover. This bass has very distinct visual and aural characteristics with it's peculiar body and neck shapes and original Mosrite pickups. There is some cosmetic wear throughout the instrument but it's generally in pretty good shape for it's age, plays great, and sounds fantastic (refer to photos for any cosmetic wear). This is a perfect bass for fans of semi-hollow basses that ooze character or just any bass collectors looking for something unique.
