This Wiring Harness is drop in ready for your Tele build or upgrade. Just solder in your pickups and you are ready to go.

The Standard Esquire Wiring Harness gives you the following modes:

• Position 1 – The pickup is routed through the volume control only, with the tone control bypassed for a hotter, louder lead sound with extra highs.
• Position 2 – The pickup is routed routed through volume and tone controls —identical to position #1 on a standard Telecaster. It sounds a bit warmer compared to the Esquire’s #1 position
• Position 3 – The pickup is routed through the volume control and a fixed “treble roll-off ” capacitor/resistor network for a very dark tone that also has a slightly decreased output

The K40Y-9 is a high quality PIO capacitor. Similar in build to a Vitamin Q. The conductor is made of aluminum foil and the dielectric is oil saturated paper, glass sealed in a metal body. These capacitors provide excellent sonic characteristics.

This is a great capacitor for Esquire or Telecaster builds or upgrades!
