HARMONY- STELLA GUITAR
Built in the 1960s, ?. This hardy specimen has survived nicely to be saved from extinction. The back and top cracks are now repaired and cleated putting the body in solid condition. The back has a 15 ½” crack running from the butt end to the upper bout. The top has two 4” hairline cracks and a few very small cracks.
The bridge is not original and is mounted using a thin addition to the bridge plate. The neck has been reset to afford the proper string height over the straight, flat fingerboard. It fingers with ease. The fretboard and frets show no visible wear. Strings are set wide apart for fingerstyle play. It has that distinctive bluesy Stella sound and projection. It’ll bring back memories of the old days.
The crack repairs, the new bridge, and the unoriginal tuners, render the instrument in good playing condition.
