We present an all original 1966 Gibson ES-345 TDSV in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This stunning hollow body with Varitone circuit and stereo output comes complete, along with its original hang. Overall, this ES-345 is in great condition with only a couple minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks. The original “Patent Number sticker” pickups are strong and balanced.
The one piece mahogany neck has a C shaped profile that gains a bit of depth as you move into the higher registers of the fretboard and has a full 1 9 /16″ nut width. Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard with double parallelogram inlays. The original gold Kluson Deluxe tuners are intact and these tuners turn smoothly. The serial number is very clean on the back of the headstock and the “Gibson” logo is in pearl inlay fon the headstock face. All the original gold hardware has aged over time, include the trapeze tailpiece.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case. Latches and handle are in working order.
- Nut width: 1 9/16″.
- Neck pickup: 8.4 kOhm.
