So this guitar…may have been played by Jimi himself. I know that’s a bold claim, a claim that is bold as love, but it’s the story I was told and most stories no matter how insane are based in some element of truth.

As a guitar, it sounds awesome and it’s from the golden age of Japanese guitar production that was coming out of the Matsumoku factory. The Matsumoku factory made everything from Univox electrics that are the iconic sound of punk to these beautiful traditional Spanish-style classicals. They totally rule.

This one sounds fantastic and it’s a great fingerpicker. Action gets challenging when you get up high on the neck, but it plays like a dream in the first position and there’s a ton of songs in it just how it is, the tone is phenomenal.

There’s some condition things here and there, but it overall looks very awesome for pushing 60 years old. Killer guitar!
