DOZENS OF COMPONENTS CHANGED OUT AND REWIRED. RED FASEL ORIGINAL

In stock and ready to ship. Was just jamming on it tonight when I wrote this. A Killer, near mint condition Hendrix inspired Modified Crybaby. Roger Meyer was known to modify Hendrix's personal wah's in the 60's and 70's for Jimi. This pedal has his legendary mods and multiple other modifications such as :

# 1 - The 'Crybaby True Bypass Kit

When engaged the Dunlop crybaby was and is the classic wah sound heard on so many records throughout time. However, disengaged, it sucks all of the tone out of your setup from its buffered input. This mod changes the switching to work in true bypass and completely takes the wah out of the signal chain leaving your tone unchanged. Made from a NOB GCB95 Donor body, this holy grail wah is now about as close to what Jimi used as you’ll get. Check out the other three mods that have been completed to this amazing pedal:

#2 - The 'Clyde
McCoy' Crybaby Kit

In 1966 Brad Plunkett, a designer at Thomas Organ Company/Warwick Electronics Inc,
was asked to redesigned a mid control on a Vox Super Beatle. The switch originally used ('Mid Range Boost') cost $4.00 and was thought too expensive. Mr Plunkett was set the task to use a pot instead, which cost around $1. Whilst
at his bench he plugged in a guitar ask a colleague to play as he turned the knob back and forth. The sound was the birth of one of the most famous guitar effects of all time. Stealing a volume pedal from a Vox Jaguar organ, installing the circuit inside and the Wah Wah was born. Unsure of how to market the pedal
Thomas Organ Company approached Clyde McCoy, a trumpet player with a record
called 'Mr Wah Wah'. They offered him some money in return for using his name.
The pedal has gone through some changes but this GCB-95 is now back
to the original Clyde McCoy specs.

#3 - The '2 Jimi's Switch' Crybaby Mod Kit

This Mod switches between the stock capacitor and a higher value capacitor. Jimi Hendrix had his wahs modded by Roger Mayer which changes the top frequency the wah sweeps to. Flick the switch you get the fuller throaty sounding tones of Mr. Hendrix.

#4 - LED Mod Kit
Using 1 x Blue 5mm LED, 1 x LED Holder, 1 x Resistor You’ll now have a super bright led to tell you when the pedal is engaged. Rewiring wnd heat shrink applied. True bypass switch installed.

So after all these modifications, you now have a coveted work of art to rock on (pun intended). Has velcro on back but never used on a pedal board or live show. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking.
