2014 Leo Eimers Gypsy Jazz Guitar 

This “Custom Model” was hand crafted by Leo Eimers in Almere, Netherlands in 2014. The culmination of Leo’s work on dozens of Selmer restorations and years of guitar building may well be his Stochelo Rosenberg signature model. 

This Custom Model was built, based on the Stochelo design, as a showcase for the 2014 Django Festival in Samois-Sur Seine.

This model has a high-grade European Spruce top, Laminated Figured Mahogany back and sides. It has a 3 piece Flamed Maple back in the Favino style and matching Flamed Maple binding. It comes with open Schaller tuners with Mother of Pearl tuning pegs. It has an ebony fretboard and bridge.  

Acoustically, there is little more to ask for from a newer instrument. The bass is solid and warm, the mids full and rounded, and the highs have a very Selmer character, but with an added sweetness. The tone is reminiscent of the later 4 brace Selmers; a slightly more open and balanced sound than the earlier models. the sustain on this guitar is amazing. It includes a Big Tone pickup, which sounds amazing.

• -Dings on the side at the bottom of the lower bout
• -Small chips on fingerboard
• -A little glue on the top by the upper mustache
