A worthy foe to the 512, but I wouldn’t necessarily make that comparison unless that was my determination for acquiring this one instead of the 512. Certainly its own thing entirely — all of the usual suspects you’d want or expect in a bread&butter osc.

Turns out that the DIY kit was a bit more ambitious than I expected — sent it to Weston; he replaced the top panel, fixed + calibrated the module. It’s worked perfectly since. So it’s a DIY… but not — semantics, I suppose Put it together last year and I seem to recall getting it back at the beginning of ‘22. It was quite difficult to track down all of the necessary components at the time because of ‘shortages’ but that has no bearing on my asking price — served its purpose in my system when I needed it. I made sure to get the best quality components that were available, whether that had any effect on sound quality will depend on who you ask — but it’s built to last, with easily replaceable components (for the most part) I can’t recall what color LED’s I used on the unit, maybe orange and green (?) — pretty clear that I took a creative liberty or two with the knobs, but they’re all on there tightly and work properly. Will include a ribbon cable and four knurlies, maybe even some patch cables if you ask in advance.
There is a small bend at the top right corner, but I couldn’t tell you where it came from — maybe a couple invisible scratches on the panel from patching, unnoticeable if so. It’s in excellent shape, only used for the first few months of ‘22. If I wasn’t getting out of modular entirely, I wouldn’t be selling — but here we are. Feel free to reach out with questions —
