This is a beautiful Paul Barth made Natural brand guitar from the late 1950s. Paul Barth was Co inventor, with George Beauchamp, of the electric pickup, a prolific inventor, innovator and master luthier. Barth created his own guitars and had several workshops in his own name. This guitar is rare as hens teeth and it looks, plays and sounds amazing. Missing one tone knob. It weighs about 6 pounds and comes with its original chipboard case. The pickup in this guitar is really something special.

A well known dealer in Nashville currently has a 2 pickup version of this same guitar for sale at $4500.

Paul Barth has a rich history in the development of the electric guitar (Ro-Pat-In, Rickenbacker, Magnatone, Natural, Barth, Bartell) and is often underestimated for his contributions. This is a real gem of a guitar and an important piece of guitar history.

This guitar is listed on other marketplaces as well so if it sells elsewhere I will take this listing down straight away. Feel free to message me with any questions or call for an in-hand description 203_340_1094.
