97 Squier Pro Tone Telecaster Thinline Deluxe Red Transparent

You're looking at a fairly rare 1997 Fender Squier Pro Tone Telecaster Deluxe Thinline semi hollow. It's in very good condition for a 25-year-old guitar. Really no dings or scratches except some tiny marks noted in pics . The gold hardware does show some wear, mostly the knobs and bridge. I've cleaned off most of the oxidation but a little remains. I'm sure it could be cleaned further, but gold hardware does tend to fade over long periods. The pickups in this guitar SOUND AMAZING. These guitars are one of Fender's biggest secrets. They were made for 3 years 1996-98 at the Cort factory in Korea, and they caused a big stir because the quality was rivaling American made guitars. This Tele holds its own against them.
They have Alnico pickups, one-piece satin maple necks, solid ash bodies, high quality tension-adjustable sealed tuners, gold hardware , bound body, string-thru construction, beautiful wood grain showing on the body. Really, the list goes on. These are not what you think of when you hear "Squire." The pickups on this Tele are warm and woody and throaty sounding. They sound better than most USA Tele's I've played.
