The Gibson Les Paul Standard is one of the original modules that it produces, and it is well-liked by guitarists all over the world thanks to its time-tested design and sound. The Les Paul Standard we have here at Bella Romeo is born in 1996, and it features a solid mahogany body which is a tonewood known for its balanced profile. It has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and a slim taper 60’s mahogany neck, which gives the classic Les Paul look and excellent playability. It is equipped with twin humbuckers in the bridge and neck to give it the classic Les Paul sound that everyone loves, and it comes with individual controls for the separate pickups.

This guitar is used and it is in good condition. There are visible dings and scratches on the top, sides and back of the body. Dullness in the finish is seen in various parts of the body front and back.  The headstock has a nice finish checking.  The neck and fretboard are in fair condition. There is a visible finish crack on the neck, and a few minor dings, none of which got through into the wood.  You can feel the worn finish as you move up and down the neck, but nothing significant to hinder playability. There are a few chips on the neck binding.  To us, this guitar has a nice aura from its authentic wears, and it sounds marvellous.  1996 seems to be described as a good wood year for Gibson’s production.

There are about 70% of the frets left. The electronics and hardware are working properly with no issues.  The truss rod still works fine in both tightening and loosening directions. This guitar comes with an original hard case.
