Here we have two vintage Helios Mic Pre-Amps in a Boutique Audio & Design dual rack. These Helios 69's are incredibly rare and the earliest of the console modules. Being white/silver in color is ultra rare and the only known other examples of these modules come directly from a rack of 6 from Chris Blackwell, the founder of Island Records and Helios. This actual pair was in the studio for the last year with The Red Hot Chili Peppers before they came to us.
These Helios' helped define the sound of Rock and Roll in the 70s and 80s. Some of the greatest records of all time were recorded on Helios, including The Beatles All You Need Is Love, Jimi Hendrix Experience Are You Experienced?, Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin I, II, III, & IV, and Bob Marley & The Wailers Exodus. These 69's are incredible and truly one of a kind. Calling them rare is an understatement.
