This is a special Max Kircher MK67 DELUXE VERSION, which is a part for part circuit correct U67. What sets this apart is the fact that this mic has a genuine Neumann BV12 transformer from the U67 installed. This adds a beautiful top end to the MK67. Also included is a Neumann U67 body tube and black badge, a mid-1950s NOS Mullard EF86 tube (hand selected for low noise from professional tube dealer 'bowie'), a NOS Siemens MKL output capacitor (1uf, 250V), a robust Neumann shock mount, PSU and cables.

It doesn't get any closer to a Neumann U67 than this. The MK67 circuit is part for part correct. The Neumann capsule and headbasket are the same used in the U67. The transformer is a genuine Neumann BV12, same as used in the U67. Neumann no longer sells these transformers to the public, FYI. Neumann body tube and badge. The tube is much better than what you get in a U67 reissue.

The mic sounds absolutely excellent. I have two of these, but need to sell one in order to free up some funds for a new roof. It is an excellent mic at a price below a Neumann U67, while achieving the same sound.

$4200 shipped, insured and PayPal'd.

This MK67 package includes the following:

» U67-Based Circuit (2017) designed and hand-built in Austria by Max Kircher*
» Neumann K67 Capsule & Neumann Capsule Mount from a TLM 67
» Neumann Head Grill
» Neumann BV12 Transformer
» Neumann body tube and badge
» mid-1950s NOS Mullard EF86 tube hand selected for low noise
» Neumann Wooden Mic Box
» Shock Mount
» NOS Siemens MKL output capacitor (1uf, 250V)
» Mic Power Supply (PSU) plus 7 pin mic cable
» 3 prong power cable

Note that the low cut switch functions as a low cut. I found no need for the linear mod with the Neumann BV12 transformer installed.

The pad labeled GND was lifted, as seen in photos. Doesn't affect anything, as there are several grounding pads on the PCB. Just noting for transparency and honesty. Please feel free to ask any questions. The pcb was meticulously cleaned to remove any solder flux residue.

Lastly, the serial number on the wooden box is different than the serial number on the head capsule assembly.
