Martin D16H 1993 Natural

Up for sale is the precursor to the D18V. This model only made from 1991-1993 so not many out there. It features a dovetail neck joint, pre war forward-shifted X bracing, tortoise binding, rosewood fretboard, headstock and bridge, snowflake fret markers, satin back/sides finish and herringbone trim and back strip. The mahogany back is simply gorgeous (I actually prefer the look of the satin finish) and the gloss Sitka spruce top is aged nicely. Comes equipped with an undersaddle Fishman goldline active pickup.

Just restrung it with some John Pearse mediums and wow the tone is outstanding. So the only major difference between this and a D18V is a 1-11/16" nut and a low profile neck instead of a modified V.

Cosmetically this guitar is nearly flawless. Just a few minor bumps and blemishes and a little fretboard wear from open chording. It does have a top crack that extends from the high e string to the lower bout. Took a few pictures from inside as well while I had the strings off.
