Vintage Voxton X-212 Semi-hollowbody Electric Bass Guitar

Very rare, hard to come by short scale Voxton Bass Guitar. Nut is 1 9/16" wide, fret board 20 3/4", from nut to the saddles 30 1/2" more or less.
Based on the  Gibson EB2 Bass Guitar style electric bass guitar. Plays & sounds great but will need a set-up. Electronic work but 3-way switch is a little finicky. May be worn out or just need cleaning. Pickup are good but show some finish wear. Floating bridge still has original bridge cover and bass mute. The mute is functional, which you don't see very often on vintage instruments. There is some separation and binding missing on the back bottom of the base that does need some attention.

From the scarce info available on these guitars, I was able to determine that this guitar was manufactured around 1969 and sold by Thomas Organ Co who had bought Vox guitars in the late 60's. The guitar appears to be of Italian design but was probably manufactured in Japan or Korea. Voxton guitars are featured in probably one of the last Vox catalogs printed around 1969-1970. The electrics in the catalog include copies of the ES-330 (X-209), ES-175 (X-215), EB2 Bass (X-212), and Les Paul (X-213).

Most of my guitars are for sale locally and on various websites like Ebay and are subject to cancellation at any time. Selling "As Is" No Return. Thank you for looking!
