Brad Whitford's Aerosmith Bogner, Ecstasy Authenticated! (#22)

WOW! Here's a rare opportunity to own a piece of history from the greatest American hard rock band ever.

After 50 years in Aerosmith, and a lifetime infatuation with guitars and amps, Brad Whitford accumulated so much gear that it’s overflowing his warehouse. He used this gear to create some of the most iconic rock and roll of our time. He selected over 170 of his precious guitars, amps and speakers and asked my help in finding them new homes with players and fans who will appreciate them as much as he does. There’s a ton of amazing gear here. Keep watching, we’re posting more of Brad’s collection every day.

From the Brad Whitford Collection at Donn Bennett's Drum Vault.

Super low serial #10! This amp has seen a few different faces. Here's a little trivia for you. Brad is a huge hot car fan. He noticed the Bogner logo mounting holes are identical to those found on Chevy SuperSport logos and recognized the opportunity to blend his two favorite things; guitars and hot cars. Brad has routinely dressed up his gear with car logos. You can see the amp with it's original Bogner logo and in it's current state, with the grill cloth removed and a new SuperSport logo. You can also see the amp onstage and in the studio in the 1996 Aerosmith Making Of Nine Lives and the 1998 live Aerosmith video screen grabs.

Acquired directly from Brad Whitford. Brad's guitar tech personally inspected the amp and confirmed it was in excellent working condition with no notable issues. The amp is identified by an Aerosmith inventory tag. It includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Brad Whitford.
