Here for sale a Washburn X-50 electric guitar in Quilted Wine Burst finish. Built in 2004 this guitar features a Mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top, a Mahogany neck, a 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard, Grover machine heads, along with a pair of Headhunter EL921 and EL923 humbuckers, wired to master volume/tone controls, a 3-way toggle switch and a push/pull coil split.
The gloss finish neck plays well, with a fairly slim ‘C’ profile that feels quick and fluid in the hand. The dual cutaways and contoured neck heel give great access to the upper register and the fret wire is quite large, feeling rock solid, a great platform for bends.
The Headhunter pickups sound thick and full, with a chunky low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with a clear high end. The master controls give a simple, intuitive feel, while the push/pull coil split gives great modern versatility.
