All original 1969 except for one tube. Still has the 2 prong plug. Nothing beats a genuine vintage speaker in a SFDR. All hand-wired with finger-joined solid wood construction, it just sounds so much better than the re-issues. This would be a fantastic amp for recording. It breaks up nicely in what can only be described as sweet but gritty. I know "clean distortion" is an oxymoron, but the distortion is well defined and not muddy or overly fuzzy.
I like overdrive dirt, and don't even need a pedal with this amp. But it takes pedals amazingly well. Or you can roll the volume on your guitar back just a touch, and it cleans up nicely to those classic Fender clean Princeton like tones with losing any real volume. And the thing is loud if you want it to be. Add in Reverb, and/or Tremolo with speed and intensity controls. A cover is included, and it will be packed and shipped with care. I'm told UPS anywhere in Canada and continental US is $80 US.
