I’m selling an original 1974 Martin D-35 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar with its original guitar case and the original letter from the CF Martin Organization signed by Frank H. Martin. I personally took this guitar to the Guitar Center located at 4525 Artesia Blvd, Lawndale, CA. I had them assess the overall condition of the guitar, cosmetically as well as sound. Several employees came over to see and play this guitar. The sound and playability was absolutely stellar per all who tested this guitar. As for the condition, all stated that this is a solid well playing guitar and only needs very minor work to bring this guitar back up to excellent condition standards. The original case is in fair condition, the lining
is intact, and the outer shell shows a well-aged patina. Two out of the five
latches need replacement. The handle is solid and swivels well. Included with this guitar is the original welcome letter from the CF Martin Organization signed by Frank H. Martin, the original
“The Care and Feeding of your Martin Instrument”, 6 packages (unopened) of D’Addario
acoustic guitar strings.
Note: The YouTube video is of my late best friend Jeff Carlson. Jeff performed up and down the Great State of Arizona playing in honky-tonks and bars in the 70’s and 80’s. He settled down in Prescott,
AZ. and wrote many folk ballads. He started posting some of his original songs on YouTube several years
ago. He’s seen playing this very Martin in the video posted.
