The Powerbrake 100 is that dream device, providing full control of the level between your amplifier and speaker without squashing any of the dynamic feel and tone. This totally roadworthy box links between your amplifier and either one or two cabinets.
A rotary dial on the front panel gives you eleven (11) level selections in 3dB increments, This allows you to go from unchained, full stage volume, right down to bedroom or apartment level in an instant, even with the amps Master Volume on maximum.
No external power supply is required, since the Powerbrakes reflected inductive load circuitry eagerly soaks up the amplifiers power. It then dissipates the resulting heat via a reactive fan which automatically responds to temperature increases created when you use greater attenuation levels.
With the Marshall Powerbrake you can drive your amp to the limit without losing control or your hearing!
