(1) Genuine Fender 500K long shaft control pot featuring S-1 switching technology. Soild shaft design. "Tone up" and modify your favorite guitar or bass with an S-1™ Switch from Fender®. Originally featured as an upgrade to American and American Deluxe Series guitars and basses in 2003, the S-1™ switch allows a multitude of tonal options for your instrument. The S-1 switch features four "stages" and can be wired into a variety of configurations (SPST, DPDT for a coil-tap, or 4PDT for a dual humbucking coil tap). Works well in conjunction with a Stratocaster 5-Position "Super" Switch (Fender p/n 0992251000). 500K solid shaft design. 3/8" diameter shaft. Accepts set screw mounting knobs only. Longer potentiometer shaft threading to accommodate instruments with controls mounting directly to body (no pickguard/control plate). Switch knob, cap, and coupling sleeve sold separately. Used on American Deluxe Tele® FMT/QMT (US) and Cabronita (Fender Custom Shop) models manufactured from 2004-2012.
