Selling an awesome vintage piece of Guild history. This is a 1971 Guild S-100 (s100) in mostly original condition. This version is the rarer, "non-finished" version so it doesn't have nitro or finish checking. The truss rod works well and the frets are in excellent condition. The body is in good condition for it's age but has a few knicks and scratches, as well as some buckle rash. The headstock has minor wear but is in very good condition for its age. One of the tuning grommets is missing but it still tunes well. Overall guitar has minor wear but nothing that affects play or structural integrity.

Electronics are all original and in great condition. The pots may need some slight cleaning but they are in excellent shape. The main negative with the guitar is an unoriginal bridge. The reproduction bridge is style #2, while the original bridge for this guitar is style #1. A make-shift nut was used to hold the bridge and it does a fine job but it is not perfect. The action cannot be lowered anymore with the current setup so smaller nuts will have to be used, or a different bridge will need to be found. As I mentioned, the guitar plays and sounds great with this setup, so there is no need to need another bridge unless you want to lower the action more. There looks to be some light gluing around the neck pocket, which may be just a factory flaw, see pictures.

Comes with original case. Case has a vintage smell to it like most cases of this age. I am only mentioning it for full disclosure. It is not a bad smell, just has that "grandmothers closet" smell. Awesome orange fabric and in decent condition. Unfortunately, it is missing keys so you cannot lock them but the locks function well otherwise.

Comes with a few saddles from the original bridge, as well as some old, unopened strings of unknown condition. Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking.
