Borealis Strat - Baby Blue & White Burst - review added

::: Review :::   (from a recent purchaser)

"The guitar sounds pretty great through my '74 Fender Champ. It has a lot of bite. It definitely sounds better than my Axl Factory Squier and my SX Strat. My MIM is put away at the moment. But it actually is heavier sounding than my 60th Anniversary American Strat. Though the USA Vintage Reissue pickups in that baby are definitely more clear. I guess it depends on what you're going for, but I really dig it. I mostly got it because of how it looks, figured I would upgrade the electronics. But I might not even have to, unless I follow through with my plan of putting P90s in her. So it's a nice surprise how good it sounds. I think it'll be a nice addition to my lineup. Oh and I really dig how light it is and how the neck feels.

::: Listing :::

This is a Borealis strat shaped guitar in baby blue and white burst with black Aurora strings and a B gig bag.

These Borealis guitars are a lot of fun. The brand was started by Aurora, the great American string company known for their colored strings with a natural, rich sound that brings out the best in most every type of guitar.

If you have a B in your band name, or your first or last name, one of these is a must have for stage or living room. Jim has an older B shaped guitar in black with red pinstripes and red strings like the Batmobile. He had it out at a neighborhood jam to celebrate the recently passed Adam West, a great American and a great Gothamite. Jim's last name begins with B so his is staying in the museum. Rumor has it he bought it from Bruce Wayne.

How do they play? Pretty darn Bad@$$ (see what we did there? used a B-word to describe how they play?)

These will stand up to any entry level guitar by any of the majors and most of the partscaster builders. The strats have that signature sound. The B guitars are voiced like their pickup array would suggest, meaning HH like an LP, and so on. The B basses really rock and are a great value for an entry bass.

Best of all, you can hang the headstock on a clothes hook on your door.

The B shaped guitar and bass bodies also function as a handle, and especiallly on the bass, a place to rest your fingers when thumb slapping. According to legend, the Borealis B shape predates the Esteve Aivai Zibanezay handle guitar. Word is they copied Borealis' homework.

And if your name doesn't begin with a B? Well then get everyone to call you Buddy or Baby (we're an equal gender guitar seller), and voila! You're good to go. Rumor has it a certain famous black eye glass wearin' Chucky got his nick that way.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Each one of these unique guitars has a fresh set of Aurora strings.

{{ Aurora strings are manufactured in Bridgeport, Connecticut. They are the ONLY guitar strings that are made entirely from domestic components; truly 100% made in the USA. They use top-grade materials, fabricated from their own rod, sealed with their patented enamel coatings, and precision wound. All processes are meticulously over-seen by their master craftsmen, having over 60 years experience. The result is a truly unique product that is available in a multitude of colored and clear coated sets that sound as good as they look.

We are proud to be an authorized Aurora dealer. After extensive side by side testing, we found Aurora strings to be the most vibrant, richest, brilliant sounding strings that bring out the natural sound of the best craft built guitars and hand selected tonewood.}}

[[[ The guitarist characters in this listing are works of fiction. Any resemblance to actual personages in the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are merely coincidental. No robotic animals were hurt during the making of the strings. Stringing was overseen by PETA (Pete's Electrostatic gitTar Agency) ]]]
