2017 Kenny Hill Custom True Temperment Performance, Bear Claw European Spruce, Double Top, Lattice Braced, Indian Rosewood back and sides, 650mm scale, in excellent lightly used condition.

This is a double top - lattice braced concert guitar with a bold, smooth and sustained bass response accompanied by bright clear singing trebles with focused harmonics, the notes are so well balanced, largely due to the microtonal fret work True Temperment fretwork which tunes each note in the scale for a truer pitch.

Kenny Hill is famous for his cutting edge luthiership along with the power and sweet sound, ease of playing his classical guitars known for. The sound board is a very fine high quality tight grained bear claw European Spruce top/ nomex/ Cedar with a masterful glass-like french polish. The Indian Rosewood back and sides reflect the sound perfectly, the guitar comes alive when played, the resonance can be felt,  the soundports are magnificent, the True Temperment fretwork makes it the ultimate for recording,.... this is certainly a unique, collectible, and rare guitar. There are a couple of areas showing mild wear to the French Polish on the back, which are barely visible. The tone is focused and the notes are exceptionally tuned via the microtonal adjusted frets. No adjustments are needed to play this guitar, ones fingers naturally fall into position and the set up has been masterfully tuned by Kenny Hill.

  This was the 2nd Kenny Hill True Temperament microtonal fretted classical guitar build. Kenny, to this day, is still amazed with the quality of this guitar's sound.
