This listing is for a 1950's Gibson Console Grande D8 Double Neck Non Pedal Steel Guitar, Original Hard Shell Case & original legs.
This guitar is an awesome piece of steel guitar history and will give you that classic 'Don Helms' style sound. There is nothing else quite like it.
The guitar is all original and really sounds great! It has been freshly restrung,the pots have been sprayed out and sound very smooth.
The electronics are standard w/ master Volume, master Tone, master Treble & 3 way selector switch.
The guitar is in good condition for its age and plays great. It does show wear and checking but nothing too serious considering how old it is. The case has definitely seen better days as one side is separating but it still protects the guitar well. Just don't go throwing it around and you should be fine.
