Malletech 5.0 Oct Imperial Grand Marimba- Rosewood Bars 1990s

This listing is for a USED Malletech 5.0 octave Imperial Grand marimba with rosewood bars. It was made in the early 1990s. I am not the original owner. The instrument is in very good condition. Except for the caster spacers (read below), I believe it's all original. I'm not sure about the bar cords.

The bars were tuned a few years ago. They have great tone and resonance but it may be time to get them tuned again. The low Eb and F# bars sound like they may have a slight crack, audible with a hard mallet but but not with soft. There are marks on the bars from being played. The previous owner is tall and replaced two of the rubber grommets on the caster stems with a steel spacer. It is currently 36" high, but it will be around 35" without the spacer. The caster is around 6" tall, so replacing the caster can lower it as well. The resonators are tunable. The instrument comes with two sets of resonator spacers (one is thick and one is thin). The original rubber grommets for the casters are included but one is missing.

low end- 40 15/16"
high end- 15 7/8"
length- 106 7/8"
height- 36" but it can be lowered to approx. 35" (w/o spacers) and lower with smaller caster
caster height- approx. 6"
low C- 20 5/8 x 3 1/2"
middle C- 14 1/16 x 2 3/16"
high C- 7 7/16 x 1 9/16"

The video was recording using a Zoom Q4n at about 4' above the instrument. I apologize for the spring noise. I didn't hear it when I recorded it. No audio enhancement, just trimmed the video. I used mallets of varying hardness; synthetic and rubber cores.
