The DX7s, released in 1987, is an updated version of the original DX7, the ground breaking synth released in the mid-eighties. The DX7s offers even more awesome features, such as a more robust chassis, as well as push-buttons and improved sound qualities. 16-bit digital sound engine (low noise). Including these improvements and others, the DX7S is a fantastic follow up to a game-changing legend. The Yamaha DX7, released in 1983, hardly needs introduction. Known for the crisp, bright, and glassy tones that stood in stark contrast to the warm analog tones of the era, the DX7 was the first truly mainstream digital synthesizer. Built on the FM By virtue of its powerful and complex algorithms, you can design a huge range The DX7 has a really nice, iconic sound and has been used by countless artists, such as Phil Collins, A-ha, Kraftwerk, Talking Heads, Chicago, Kool & the Gang, and more. This is the real deal if you're looking for that glassy 80s FM sound.

This keyboard is in decent shape. Everything works. although the keyboard is a bit noisy...maybe needs some screws tightening. All 61 keys work, and the tone generator system works perfectly, and can easily be midi'd with another keyboard!

I would prefer this be a local pick-up, however if it needs to be shipped, buyer pays actual shipping and insurance costs, not the listed $100 shipping estimate.
