Ray LaMontagne's all-original narrow panel '56 Tweed Princeton. If you love the vibe and tone of early Fender tweed amps, this is a near-perfect specimen.
Pushing 4.5 watts of power through a single 8" speaker, this Princeton is small step up from the spartan simplicity of the one-knob Fender Tweed Champ (which Ray is also selling). The tone is indescribably pure, the breakup is organic and satisfying and, unlike the Champ, it has a tone knob. This amp has no issues, although like all older amps with a leather handle, we don't suggest using it to carry the amp. The original power cord has been changed to a three-prong grounded plug.
Great for the studio, small gigs or your collection, this '56 Princeton will start a conversation anywhere you go. And it's got the provenance to make that conversation interesting...
