2007 Gibson Les Paul Studio Limited Run Guitar of the Week # 20 Satin Ebony Finish EMG's Ebony FB

Up for sale is a 2007 Limited Run Gibson Les Paul Studio Model Guitar of the Week #20 in a faded Satin Ebony Finish with EMG’s (85 in the neck and 81 in the bridge) and and Ebony fretboard weighing in at 7.8 pounds. This piece comes from a Limited Run of 400 guitars that Gibson marketed each week in 2007. These pieces are hard to come by and very desireable from a collector’s point of view. This one is in Excellent condition with only minor surface pick scratches on the low E side, some very light scratches on the middle of the back, a small indent on the back of the headstock and a small nick under the lower strap button. Most of the blemishes do not show up in the photos and are difficult to pick up even with a discerning eye. Other than that, there are no other dings, dents, depressions, scratches or worming that I can see. I repeat, this guitar is very clean and has been well-taken care of. The EMG’s are dark with a lot of midrange thunk that really cuts right through the mix. This one’s perfect for any type of music but really excels with a Metal and Rock orientation (the EMG’s probably add another 15-25 decibel gain boost giving that chunky distorted tone and no feedback--- think Zakk Wylde). All the electronics work perfectly with no static or hum and no string buzz. Features and specs can be seen at listing's end.  
Bottom-line: This is both a great-sounding and great-playing guitar with versatility of tone and excellent sustain and harmonics. The action is low with a nice straight neck, extremely fast Ebony fretboard and all of its fret life left. The MSRP at the time was $2139.00. Here is an opportunity to latch on to a really nice Limited Run guitar at a very reasonable price. You won’t be disappointed.
