1/4 Watt Boutique Handwired Hi-Gain Plexi Tone All Tube Guitar Amp Speaker Box - Made With Gutted Marshall Action Speaker Cabinet - Made in USA!

Handwired all tube guitar amp built using point to point hand wiring from tube sockets to components. Over 8 hours build time! Built into a gutted Marshall Action speaker (smaller than the Stanmore). Perfect as a tabletop tube guitar amp! Built in 4" speaker. An external speaker cabinet can be connected for better tone/volume. External speaker can be hidden so that this does not look like a guitar amp in a living room/den setting. Built in speaker lacks the quality sound you would expect from a good tube amp. It is recommended to use an extension cabinet for the best sound!

I have sold over 100 custom tube amp conversions built into gutted Marshall combo amps and these mini heads for several years on eBay. You will not be disappointed when you hear these amps!

1/4 watt output for low volume use (bedroom, apartment or condo). Sounds about as loud as a normal conversation in a room on maximum gain/volume.
This amp is designed to sound like an overdriven Marshall running off a variac (brown sound) at low bedroom levels.
1 watt tube amplifiers are still too loud for bedroom , apartment or condos! With this 1/4 watter, you can max out the volume and not have to use a reduction switch to lower volume and change your tone.
The 12AX7 pre-amp tube is interchangeable with ECC81, ECC82, ECC83, 12AT7 & 12AY7 tubes for increased clean headroom and less gain. By replacing one tube you can alter tone, clean headroom and gain of this amp!

Tubes should last years without needing replacement. Heater current from both tubes must not exceed 300ma total! No re-biasing is needed when changing tubes!
