Vintage Coronet SG Copy 1968-72 Made In Japan Gibson Classic ‘57 Pups Very Rare. Here is a rare SG Copy that was only sold in Japan. I have searched and searched, and only found one other like this in Australia. Genuine Gibson Classic ‘57 pickups. New Epiphone complete wiring set. Schaller Keystone tuners. Very rare laminate maple neck with volute and zero fret. It has very low action, a beefy neck profile for a Japanese guitar, and the neck is double bound. The body is mahogany (pancake build). The finish has checking throughout, just like most of the old Gibson’s get. The finish also has some nicks and dings, none severe. This is a real SG Killer. I have 7 Japanese SG copies from the 1970’s and this is my absolute favorite. Guitar will be professionally packaged and shipped with insurance.
