Sound Description & Characteristics:
A larger bell and slightly taller profile than a Bliss Gorilla ride give it a higher pitch. Full stick sound with an dry, airy undertone and controlled, moderate, colorful swell. Great vintage heavy-ride sound.
The massive 6" bell is very solid and separated for cut and projection in louder settings.
- Surface: wide deep lathing by hand
- Bow: medium taper
- Bell: larger, articulate, clear
- Weight: medium thin to heavy, very fast and solid response
- Hammering: deep hammered hot and cold
- Stick: very crisp and fast
