Magnatone Model 107 “Starlet” 1950s Combo Amplifier

Magnatone Model 107 “Starlet” 28-Watt Combo Amplifier from the 1950s. This is a Filament amplifier. If you don’t know what that is, don’t buy this because it is not for you. It’s not the safest design by todays standards. Unfortunately it is what it is with amplifiers with this kind of circuit unless you want to modify them. This specific amp sounds really great as is. It breaks up with creamy gain and is right to the point sonically with only one volume knob. A new two prong cable has been put on. However it will need a new bulb for the pilot light. The original paperwork and schematic comes along with it and is in okay condition. The original handle is still kicking and is real thick leather that has aged beautifully. This is a great looking and sounding amp here. Again, this is a filament amp. If that’s not your thing, please don’t buy this!
