This Studer A80 is an 8 track 1” machine with remote control. This model has 8 channels of electronics, with room for an additional 8. The tape path is set up for 2” transport with 1” guides in place (the pinch roller and capstan are 2"). I am the second owner. It was previously at a TV station in Dallas, Texas.
The motors and heads are in good shape. It has seen very little use. Two channels of electronics will need tweaking and the machine will need to be setup & calibrated, but the machine is overall in great shape. I prefer to sell to someone who can check it out in person.
