About This Listing

Very very rare Matsumoku Japan SG Goldtop Lawsuit Model
We did not find or see another one on the Internet in the last ten years!

Completely unrestored original condition with nice patina.
We did not clean the guitar to keep this original item in its authentic condition. It has not been used for minimum 19 years and was a memento of a musicians widow!

5-ply: Head, Truss Rod Cover, Pickguard & Electric Backplate
Nylon bridge saddles
Zero fret
Mahogany Body and neck
Probably Brazboard
8.5 and 8.8k on humbuckers
We would date this guitar 1968 to 1972

Condition: No breaks, no repairs, just 3 simple dings & dongs. All ! works fine except the original switch - It switches little noisy and doesnt work on the bridge pickup site. To fully play the guitar you have to restore the switch or buy a new one! Tuner work fine and frets have beef for years! New Gibson Vintage Reissue strings have been installed. No Case incuded.

Before you ask, compare our pic 2 with this older Elk King Cobra ad here on reverb (reverb.com/item/1013670-1970-elk-king-cobra-vintage-japanese-mosrite-copy-rare) with the ads pic 2 its the same fretboard/zero fret/inlay/5-ply design...
