What it is...

A 2011 somewhat rare version of the Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker. One major differnce you'll notice from most Melody Makers is this doesn't have the narrow headstock. Instead has the wider "open book" type you'd find on a Les Paul Junior. Comes with two P90 pickups and volume/tone controls. This guitar has a very cool look with the wear on it almost resembling a factory "road worn" relic look. It's the kind of wear that speaks of having been played but in a nice worn-in way--not an ugly way. Mostly minor paint wear around the edges. The frets have lots of life with minor flattening on the first five frets under the G, B and high E strings. Fret edges are are a little rough. If you're the type that is bothered by that, you may want to pull out a file and round them off. I just set this up with new strings and set intonation. It's ready to play and enjoy. Weight is a very comfortable 6 pounds, 8 ounces. No case. Thanks for looking.
