The Lucas Kenny Smith model is built after Kenny's personal 1935 Martin D18.
ALL OF THE MAHOGANY ON THIS GUITAR was cut in the 1930s by C.F. Martin and was purchased from Mike Longworth, MARTIN HISTORIAN!!!!

Bracing: Scalloped Adirondack bracing one inch from the sound-hole

Back and sides: 1930s Martin Mahogany
Fingerboard: Ebony with Lucas Logo

Twelfth fret width: 2.25″
Scale Length: 25.5″
Neck: Vintage shaped 1930s Mahogany...EXACT replica of Kennys 1935 D18
Truss rod: Non-adjustable Vintage 1930s Martin T-Bar
Bridge: Brazilian Rosewood with long saddle
Binding: Tortoise
Purfling: Wood
Headstock: Brazilian rosewood overlay Abalone Martin Torch inlay
Tuners: Waverly Vintage with HAND AIRBRUSHED Ivoroid buttons

This Lucas has an incredible action! Plays effortlessly. Its very loud and punchy...nice warm tone!!
There are a few dings on the guitar...all pictured. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. There is some slight lacquer checking on the back seam.
Kenny Smith personally played this guitar at the Midwest Banjo Camp (put on by Elderly) a couple weeks ago. He gave the guitar his seal of approval!!!
There were only 21 one of these made! Randy is no longer building traditional style guitars....he only builds one of a kind "Olson" style guitars that cost $10,000-$20,000!!! That is the kind of quality that Randy Lucas guitars have!!!
It will be shipped in a very plush, high end AVS hard case that fits this LUCAS like a glove!!!
