The biggest imperfection is the volume slider cap has broken off, and there is a decent amount of crackling while moving the volume slider. There are also some minor scratches/dings across the unit, the biggest of which is shown in one photo, but overall the wear is quite minor. There is a spot where some tape has left some residue, but it may be possible to get it off.

Other than the surface imperfections and the crackling when moving the volume slider, the synth itself still works well. All keys are working and none are stuck.

Included with this DX7 is also a ROM cartridge. This is a 2 bank, 2 page ROM cartridge, for a total of 4 separate banks for storing 32 presets each. Unfortunately, it seems like "A" bank may have become corrupted as when loading presets from that bank, they seem to load incorrectly with jumbled text displayed on the screen. It may just need to be seated in the cartridge slot more delicately, as I have been able to get it to load the sounds correctly while the text on the screen still appears jumbled.
