Martin 00-18VS Custom (UMGF) w/ Video

This is #31 of approximately 200 custom 00 guitars made by Martin from about 2002 to 2010. The model specifications were created by a group of Martin enthusiasts at UMGF (The Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum) in the early 2000s. The guitar came in natural and ambertone. This particular instrument is “natural” and dates from early in the model's production (2003/4). Over the years the guitar has been widely praised. I believe I’m the 3rd owner of this instrument, having bought it in April 2010. Upgrades to the guitar include a compensated bone saddle with unslotted ebony pins, and an ebony strap button (added by a previous owner). Overall condition is Excellent, with no wear, dents, cracks, or repairs of any kind. It does have some fret wear through the 5th fret, but not bad at all. Structurally it’s in fantastic shape and has a great tone and lots of volume, especially for a smaller guitar. Just restrung with D’Addario med PBs but the guitar has largely been sitting in its humidified case for the last year, which is why I’m selling. Action is nice and low, with lots of saddle. Plays really easy. Comes in Martin hard case in VG condition.
