Greco EJR54-50 1982 Super Real Single Cut Les Paul Junior - TV Yellow Jr – Located in the US

Super cool and rare 1982 Greco Les Paul TV Junior. 1982 was the first year Greco offered this model, and the only year this model came with a Super Real headstock!

This is a FujiGen-made, very faithful copy of a 1954 single cut Junior. The neck has a nice chunky C profile (.88 at 1st fret and 1.0 at 12th fret), with thin vintage frets like on an EGF-1200, and a really nice dark rosewood board. Original frets are in amazing shape with virtually no wear.

Aside from two finish chips near the rear strap button, and a finish crack on the back of neck (it’s only a finish crack, and does not go through to the wood), this Super Real Greco is in remarkable condition for a 40 year old guitar!

And it’s a nice light weight at 7 lbs. 6 oz.

This guitar has had the following upgrades:
- Seymour Duncan Antiquity P-90 ($130)
- MojoAxe compensated wraparound bridge ($148). The original FujiGen bridge is included with the guitar.
- Wiring, pots and jack are new, cavities have been shielded with copper, and it’s had a professional setup. Intonation is spot on, and it’s super quiet for a P-90 equipped guitar. All work was done by Pete Skermetta at Rock It Science Guitars in Austin ($150). The original wiring is included with the guitar.

This Junior plays and sounds fantastic. It’s currently strung with 10-45 strings, and the action is set very low, which is how I like it. You may want to adjust it to your liking.
