Teisco SX-210 61-Key Analog Synthesizer w/ MIDI 1980s Vintage MIJ Kawai Rare SSM2044

Up for sale is a rare Teisco SX-210 61-Key Analog Synthesizer, also known to be manufactured under the name of Kawai SX-210 for the international market. An 8-voice single DCO synth based on the SSM2044 filter chips.

The unit appears to be working fine to the best of my knowledge, all the keys and knobs and buttons working well as being tested. Editing parameter settings and saving patch programs worked fine too. This one has MIDI and a new lithium battery installed by the previous owner (The MIDI is untested).

Please note that I'm not a technician at these and I may have not tested every function, so no guarantees are made.

Cosmetically the unit is in nice condition for its age as you can see. There are signs of a minor blemish on the print and wear marks here and there, but nothing too serious. There is also a pen mark on the top left corner of the front panel as pictured. The previous owner removed the serial number plate to install the MIDI socket on the rear as shown, I'm including the detached plate as well. I'm including plenty of pictures of the actual item so you can see exactly how it looks.

**This unit was made for the Japanese market which runs on 100 volts. You will need a stepdown voltage converter for 120V - 220V regions.
