Selmer Mark VI alto #88xxx from 1960. This horn is believed to be
original lacquer although its almost entirely gone. It had a recent
overhaul and the tech who had it apart maintains that it is worn but
original. It belonged to a full time pro and the overhaul is recent and
pro quality. It is set up nice and tight and feels just great.
A strong playing horn with a rare high F# key. This horn is mechanically solid and will be ready for serious use by any serious player. No serial number on the neck. This was how is came to the previous owner who had it for over 15 years.
Age appropriate wear but you will be hard pressed to find a better alto.
This will blow rings around your II, III, Ref, Yani, Yammi, whatever
and the price is right.
