From the collection of drummer Bill Ward comes a set of vintage Zildjian cymbals purchased in the early-1970s and used on records and tours from 1971-1978.
Included in the complete set are:
22” Med/Heavy Crash Ride (1800g, 2 cracks) 20” Med Crash Ride (1360g, 1 small crack) 20” Light Thin Crash (900g, no cracks, original tape) 18” Light Thin Crash (560g, no cracks, tape residue) 16” Med/Thin Crash (500g, two small cracks at top hole)
This is a rare chance to own a piece of heavy metal history. Cymbals played (or beaten to hell, really) by the godfather of heavy metal drumming in the prime years of the band. Classic recordings, huge tours — these cymbals have seen the world from a unique vantage point and are as special as anything in this shop.
Buyers local to the Los Angeles area can schedule a pickup of these cymbals. Arrangements can be made for a meet and greet with Bill Ward after payment is received. Message for more details.
